Michael D. Eiland, Senior Research Associate at Purdue University, is an early childhood and elementary mathematics education research scientist.
Dr. Eiland’s research focuses on mathematical thinking and learning. A former industrial engineer, he enjoys seeing children, especially from underrepresented groups, discover how STEM and its applications positively impacts their daily lives.
