Maegan Colbert (formerly Reinhardt) is a Doctoral Candidate in the Human Development and Family Science Department at Virginia Tech, where she contributes to developmental and applied research projects investigating metacognitive skills and math learning in elementary and middle school students.
She is particularly interested in developing interventions that support learning and metacognitive skills in school-age children with and without disabilities. She brings a decade of prior experience as a speech-language pathologist in K-12 settings, which informs her approach to research that is both rigorous and responsive to the realities of classroom practice.
