Maria Benzon

Dr. Maria Benzon is a seasoned educator with over 24 years of leading and teaching in urban public schools and universities. She has shared her knowledge and experience in math curriculum and instruction as well as her research in cognitive science, motivation, and racial-ethnic identity with educators at local and national STEM workshops. As an educator, Maria has worked to ensure all students, especially historically marginalized voices, are empowered to learn via equitable supports and strategies.
