Equity Research Advisory Board

Previously, EF+Math had several different advisory groups, including the Educator Leadership Council (ELC), Equity Research Advisory Board (ERA), and other experts. The Equity Research Advisory Board (ERA) was a panel of equity researchers of mathematics education, educational technology, critical race theory in mathematics and systemic inequities in education. Board members provided crucial perspectives to the executive team and funded teams along a variety of equity dimensions, including mathematics education, technology, Black and Latinx learners, mathematics identity, student advocacy, learning in high-poverty schools and understanding structural and systemic racism. They supported the EF+Math community in understanding and implementing ways to create long-lasting, equity-centered changes at classroom and systemic levels. As EF+Math moves into the evaluation phase of its work, members of the ERA have merged into the Program Advisory Board. We are thankful to everyone who has supported our team and helped make our work stronger and more equitable.
