Debbra Lindo
Educator LEadership COuncil Chair
Debbra Lindo chairs the Educator Leadership Council for the EF+Math Program and is the program’s Superintendent in Residence. She has been a public high school English and social studies teacher, a school principal in both urban and suburban settings, area executive officer, superintendent of schools, vice president of educational services for a start-up software company and CEO of a national nonprofit, all of which give her perspectives on what it takes for every student to achieve at high levels. As CEO of College Track, a college-completion program that removes the academic, financial and social-emotional barriers to students’ earning a college degree, she scaled the organization nationally. Lindo subsequently led all secondary schools in Palo Alto Unified School District, where she facilitated a campaign to ensure students earn the credits required for admission to California colleges. She earned a BA in US History from Mills College, an MA and teaching credential from Stanford University and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s College of California. She is currently Superintendent Emerita of Emery Unified School District.
