Melynee Naegele is an instructional coach at the Osage County Interlocal Cooperative, where she supports K–8 teachers across three districts. With a professional background that includes roles as an academic success coach and field coordinator at Oklahoma State University, as well as experience in preschool administration, special education, classroom teaching, and math intervention, she brings a wide range of expertise and insight into effective teaching for diverse learners.
Naegele is deeply involved in the mathematics education community at both the state and national levels. She serves on the board of directors for the Oklahoma Council of Teachers of Mathematics, has presented at local, state, and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) conferences, and moderates #ElemMathChat on Bluesky, continuing the online community she co-created on X (formerly Twitter).
She earned a B.A. in special education and an M.A. in teaching, learning, and leadership with an emphasis in K–8mMathematics from Oklahoma State University. As Past President of the Oklahoma Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Naegele’s leadership reflects her ongoing commitment to equity, collaboration, and excellence in math education.
